When Seán first started Sentinel Security Systems, it was a one-man operation. However, the company has since grown into a team of 25 highly-trained individuals, including engineers, salespeople, accounts personnel, and administration staff. Some of the most recent additions to the team come from another esteemed security company in the region, O’Mahony Security. This infusion of talent has significantly bolstered Sentinel’s capabilities.

The team at Sentinel Security Systems is fortunate to have such experienced engineers who have been with Sentinel Fire & Security for many years and recently have had some new staff members who previously worked at O’Mahony Security. O’Mahony Security would have been a pillar in West Cork’s security industry. Our engineering team has grown from strength to strength in recent years, including Fergus Monihan, Kamil Sadowski, Jack Heaney, Arron Crowley, Darragh Collins, Padraigh Hanley, Robert O’Donovan, Alan Daly, Andrew Desmond, Jack Marks, and Donnagh Murphy, have further strengthened Sentinel’s position as a leader in the field. With decades of combined experience, the team excels in fault finding and installations across various security systems, including Intruder Alarms, Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, and Automated Gates. 

Sentinels Fire & Security management and sales team has also grown with a team comprising of Pádraig Lawton (Installation Manager), Leo O’Rourke (Sales), Dave McSweeney (Sales & Operations), Paul O’Donovan (Sales and Operations), and Raymond Collins (Senior Engineer), ensuring clients receive the best advice and solutions. Both Paul and Ray also recently joined us from O’Mahony Security, and both bring excellent knowledge and professionalism to the team at Sentinel Fire and Security. The management team is supported by Lisa, who works in “front of the shop” dealing professionally and politely with our loyal clients at our office in South Main Street, Bandon, Co.Cork. 

Sentinel Fire & Security remains a family business, with Seán’s mother Kay serving as Finance Officer, his sister Liz as Accounts and Office Manager, and his brother-in-law Pádraig as Engineer and Installation Manager. His father, John, continues to support the company whenever possible.
