Every aluminium gate we manufacture is finished in-house to an architectural standard — cleaned, treated, coated and cured on our own automated line for a finish built to last in the Irish climate.
Choose from five standard RAL colours supplied at no additional cost, over one hundred non-standard RAL shades, ten standard woodgrain finishes, and a fully bespoke colour-matching service. However you specify it, the result is engineered for long-term durability, colour stability and low maintenance.
Every profile passes through a controlled 7-stage pre-treatment system, submerged in a sequence of tanks that clean, degrease, etch and polymer-seal the surface — inside and out, not just the visible faces.
This preparation enhances corrosion resistance, improves coating adhesion, and provides the correct foundation for both powder coating and woodgrain sublimation.
Coating is applied on a fully automated line using Interpon D2525 architectural-grade powder — developed to withstand harsh environments and deliver long-term durability in exposed locations.
Our standard finish is Structura, a textured matt coating that combines durability with a refined architectural look and improved impact resistance. Profiles then pass through a 25-metre oven at approximately 200°C for around 20 minutes to fully flow, bond and harden the coating.
A specialist process creates realistic wood-grain finishes on coated aluminium. A printed film carrying the chosen grain is wrapped around a powder-coated profile, and a vacuum process draws it into full contact with the surface.
Heated in a controlled oven, the inks convert to a gas and penetrate the coating layer. As it cools, the pattern becomes permanently embedded — a durable, high-definition timber look with all the strength and low maintenance of aluminium.
